We are a group of concerned citizens whose goal is to keep taxes at an affordable rate. We believe there needs to be an advocate for the taxpayers, to keep municipal spending in check.
You can help by becoming engaged in town issues. Attending town meeting is a great way to participate. Your vote at town meeting can have a direct impact. Select board, Finance Committee meetings are also good to attend and ask questions. Most important is to vote at the annual town election.
We have no issue with the Fire Department and certainly don't want to see the service they provide go away. We just want to see a modest, affordable option to take care of their needs. We do not wish to have taxpayers in town burdened by significant property tax hikes.
